Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on November 13, 2010 after her release from house arrest.

The European Parliamentary Caucus on Burma (EPCB): 

• aims to raise awareness about military dictatorship’s brutality  in Burma throughout Europe.
• is formed  to advocate for all people in need inside and outside of Burma.
• advocates for more effective actions to be taken by European governments, the European Union and other international bodies.
• consists of parliamentary members from sixteen different European countries.
